ICAN 2027 Quadra Free Day
Mark your calendars for Quadra Free Day 2027, a community-wide event where residents give away items they no longer need and find useful treasures from others. Whether you’re decluttering, downsizing, or simply looking to pass along gently used belongings, this is a great opportunity to pass them along. Please ensure all items are in good condition and ready for a second life and get out and see what others have to offer—you never know what you might find!
Event Details
Date: Saturday, June 11-13, 2027 Alternate date in case of rain is June 18-20, 2027
Location: Participating residences across Quadra Island.
What to Put Out
Place reusable items in a clearly visible spot on your property. Items may include:
- Household (indoor and outdoor furniture, kitchenware, etc.)
- Plants and gardening tools
- Toys, bikes, and outdoor gear
- Tools and hardware
- And more
Guidelines
- Place items in a safe, accessible location with room for drivers to pull over safely.
- On Sunday evening, please remove any unclaimed items to help keep our roadsides tidy.
Register your address to be included on the official “clip-and-go” list of participants by May 25, 2027.
