DESCRIPTION:All Quadra ICAN Members are warmly invited to attend the online 2024 Annual General Meeting. As per the Quadra ICAN Society Constitution and Bylaws\, members are entitled to vote if they are in attendance at the virtual meeting\, whether online or by phone. Voting is by voice and show of hands. Proxy votes are not permitted under the Constitution. Please see below for details on registering for the AGM\, membership\, and using the Zoom platform. \nNominations to the Board must have the individual’s permission and must be received by Wednesday\, June 5th\, either by email at quadraicansociety@gmail.com or by Canada Post at Quadra ICAN\, P.O. Box 404\, Heriot Bay\, BC V0P 1H0. If you are submitting a nomination by regular mail\, please allow sufficient time for it to reach us. Nominees this year will be standing for a one-year term. \nRegister to attend the Virtual AGM: To participate in the Annual General Meeting\, please RSVP to Leona Skovgaard: quadraicansociety@gmail.com or phone her at 604-789-2492 by Wednesday\, June 5th. Members who are registered to attend will receive a Zoom invitation and password in advance by email or by phone. If you aren’t sure you are a member\, please contact Leona by phone or by email before Wednesday\, June 5th\, and ask to be added to the Membership list. \nDon’t use Internet?  You can call in to the Zoom Meeting by phone. When you contact Leona to register to attend the AGM she will call you back later with a phone number and a Meeting ID # so you can phone into the meeting at the scheduled time.
